Zinc pyrithion by Connect Chemicals is a palm-oil free, broad spectrum anti-dandruff-, antibacterial- and antifungal agent. It is particularly suitable for fighting Malessezia, a fungus naturally present on the skin and responsible for scalp dandruff. It is also effective against odor causing bacteria on the skin. Zinc pyrithion is recommended for various rinse-off and leave-on hair care (anti-dandruff shampoos) & skin care products. It shows excellent compatibility with surfactants and alkaline cosmetic formulations. It has a shelf life of 24 months.
