Glycolic acid by Connect Chemicals is a biodegradable exfoliating agent. It shows good efficacy as an anti-aging agent. It appears in the form of clear to light yellow liquid or white crystalline powder. It exhibits keratolytic properties which exfoliate dead skin cells from the skin surface and lead to better skin by reducing existing lines, wrinkles, acne problems and fading hyperpigmentation.
  • It also works as a humectant to draw moisture to the newly exfoliated skin and provide hydration of dry skin.
  • It is suitable for use at a pH level of >3.8.
  • It finds application in formulating hair-, leave-in- & nail conditioners, all in one body & hair shampoos, sunscreen combination, acne treatment, anti-aging and skin peeling products.
  • It is also compatible with other compounds and ingredients.
  • Glycolic acid has a shelf life of 36 months.
