1,2-Hexanediol. Elixi-CARE HD by Connect Chemicals is a preservative booster, humectant, viscosity decreasing agent and solvent. It is a multifunctional ingredient with good antimicrobial properties. It can significantly reduce the concentration of preservatives needed in the final formulation. It improves moisturizing efficiency and has excellent sensory profile.

It can help to dissolve other ingredients and improve the spreadability of products.
It is non skin sensitizer or non-irritating ingredient and can be used safely for all kinds of skin types.
Recommended for shower gels, facial cleansers, shampoos, skin care, hair care, oral care, sun care, toiletries, wet wipes, baby care and make up.
It has a shelf life of 24 months under proper storage conditions.
