Caesalpinia Spinosa Gum (100%). Plantasens® Biogum Tara by Clariant is a versatile, easy to process, biodegradable, natural thickener and texturizer obtained from the tara spinosa plant through mechanical processing.

• It offers higher performance with regard to viscosity building and less sticky feeling on the skin due to lower use levels.
• It provides smoother textures of formulations and non-stringy appearance during pick-up.
• It is compatible with most emulsifiers and many surfactants.
• This biopolymer is based on mannose and galactose sugars which have a high hydroxyl group density and thus interact favorably with water and other sugars of this hydrocolloid.
• Recommended for creams, lotions, rinse-off, sun protection, shower, shampoos and liquid soaps.
• Used for face- and body care products.
• Plantasens® Biogum Tara is approved by Ecocert, Halal, Vegan, Natural (ISO 16128) and COSMOS.
