Emulsogen® HCW 049

PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil. Emulsogen® HCW 049 by Clariant is a cold-processable, non-ionic, reliable, and very effective liquid solubilizer for active, essential and perfume oils. It acts as a dispersing agent and oil in water (O/W) emulsifier for special emulsions.

• It is produced by the ethoxylation of hydrogenated castor oil.
• It offers pleasant skin feel, medium to rich absorption and caring after feel.
• It shows flexibility for demanding formulations and compatibility with electrolytes & alcohols.
• Emulsogen® HCW 049 is suitable for formulating antiperspirants & deodorants, wet wipes, liquid soaps, shampoos, creams, lotions and sun protection products.
• It is used for solubilizing etheric oils and fragrances in water- and water-alcoholic solutions.
