PIB 30 by Braskem is emollient based on polyisobutene. It is composed predominantly of aliphatic mono-olefins. It is clear, bright and free from sediments or suspended matter.

PIB 30 is used in cosmetics applications.
It is obtained by polymerization of an isobutene rich stream with specific catalysts.
It has a shelf life of 3 years.
It is NSF certified.
