Diazolidinyl Urea. iBACT DU by BIOALKEMIA is widely used for the prevention of bacterial contamination in personal care products. It is a cosmetic preservative highly effective against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria over the period of storage and use of the product. It is developed from imidazolidinyl urea and as reported by the FDA, one of the ten most frequently used preservatives in cosmetics sold in USA. In combination with parabens, it is more effective. It is applicable in antiseptic in creams, lotions, shampoo, conditioner, liquid cosmetic and eye cosmetics. iBACT DU has a shelf life of 1 year.
