Ribes Nigrum Leaf Extract. Black Currant Absolute by Berjé is an essential oil that is intensely spicy and tangy, with a woody nuance and phenolic drydown.

Black Currant Absolute is used in fine fragrances with other floral & citrusy ingredients such as jasmine and bergamot.
It has a phenolic, almost animal-like drydown, which can be used to add a somewhat "dirty" olfactory note for more natural-smelling perfumes.
It also retains a slightly fruity & sulfuric odor that can be used to modify other floral/citrus aromas.
