Betula Alba Bark Extract. Birch Tar Rectified by Berjé is an essential oil which retains potent phenolic and penetrating odor with an oily and slightly sweet tinge.

Birch Tar Rectified is easily soluble in alcohol and is a common used in phenolic perfumery & included with ingredients such as vetiver, patchouli, and balsam.
Its aroma is slightly sweet and somewhat reminiscent of leather which makes it a popular component of masculine fragrances such as colognes, aftershaves, and body lotions.
