Ethylhexyl Triazone. BELGUARD® EHT by Belchem Industries is an effective oil soluble UVAII & UVB filter that absorbs UV radiation with excellent photostability. It fits perfectly for water resistant formulations. Its polar nature gives it good affinity to the keratin in the skin. It is effective at low concentration to achieve a high SPF value. It is used in sunscreen creams, lotions, lipsticks and sun oils. It shows good compatibility with other UV absorbers & it also protects against free radicles. Shelf life of BELGUARD® EHT is 36 months.
