Enameguard™

Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein. Enameguard™ by BASF is a cold processable, non-GMO buffering agent. It is produced via an enzymatic process. It supports and restores the mouth’s natural mineral balance, which is disrupted by eating or drinking sweet, sour, acidic foods and beverages. It binds to enamel surface and interacts with the surrounding calcium and phosphate ions from saliva. It promotes the buffering effects of saliva and aids in the natural remineralization of tooth enamel. Enameguard™ is recommended for oral care products such as toothpastes, gels and mouthwashes.
