Coco-Caprylate. CETIOL® C5 by BASF is a fast spreading, 100% renewable emollient. It is a readily biodegradable grade.

It possesses excellent skin compatibility, improves hair gloss and oil deposition from body wash to skin.
It also enhances the solubility of crystalline UV filters.
It is especially suitable as an alternative to volatile silicones like cyclomethicone.
It is used in formulating shower/bath-, after sun-, conditioning-, face cleansing-, sun protection and self-tanning products.
CETIOL® C5 is also used in antiperspirants & deodorants, shampoo, personal care wipes, baby care & cleansing, color-, face & body care products.
