VP/VA Copolymer. PVP-VA E-635 by Ashland acts as a film former. Offers strong & stiff hold, enhanced high humidity curl retention, hairstyle hold, good propellant compatibility, fixative & styling polymers and vegan suitable.

• It is a linear, random copolymer that is formed by the free-radical polymerization of vinyl acetate (VA) and vinylpyrrolidone (VP), which are provided in ethanol, in ratios ranging from 70/30 to 30/70.
• It is used in the formulation of hair care products such as hairsprays, colorants, mousses, gels and styling lotions/creams.
• Also used in personal care, pomades, waxes and pastes.
