Cyclopentasiloxane (and) l-Ascorbic Acid (and) Polysilicone-11 (and) Ethylhexyl Hydroxystearate. Vitamin C in Silicone (20% L-ascorbic acid) by Alfa Chemistry is a potent antioxidant. It is naturally derived from all natural citrus fruit sources. It is then dissolved and stabilized in an elastomer dispersion consisting of cyclopentasiloxane, polysilicone-11, and ethylhexyl hydroxystearate (derived from castor bean).
It can improve appearance of aged and fragile skin.

• It is used as add-on ingredient in skin-lightening products to correct hyperpigmentation and age spots.
• The effect can be increased by combining L-ascorbic acid with L-ascorbyl palmitate and/or vitamin E.
• Vitamin C in Silicone (20% L-ascorbic acid) is used in serums, lotions, sun care & after sun products and sticks & makeup products.
