Trihydroxystearin by Alfa Chemistry provides thixotropic thickening in a variety of oils including mineral, vegetable and silicone oils as well as low polar aliphatic solvents. Offers good recovery in stick products and improves stability when used in the oil phase of emulsions. It can be used as a binder in pressed powers. Derived by catalytic hydrogenation of castor oil. Recommended for creams, lipsticks, massage gels and balms. Trihydroxystearin is GMO free and preservative free.
