Silica Dimethyl Silylate

Silica Dimethyl Silylate by Alfa Chemistry is a preservative-free, non-GMO, rheology modifier. It is hydrophobic fumed silica that thickens oils and polyols and suspends particles in oils. It increases viscosity and gloss of various oils by forming oil-gels, improves payoff in lipsticks, reduces pigment settling and oil bleeding in lipsticks. It provides grip in powder products and adds volume to dry shampoo products. Silica Dimethyl Silylate is widely used in skin care and color cosmetics, such as makeup and powders.
