Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate (OSS) by Alfa Chemistry acts as an emollient, texture enhancer, thickener & stabilizer, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and skin conditioning agent. It is a cosmetic ingredient derived from stearic acid (a saturated fatty acid found in animal and vegetable fats). It enhances the texture and feel of products, leaving a moisturize, soften, silky-smooth finish on the skin.

It helps to maintain the consistency and shelf life of products.
