Glyceryl Erucate by Alfa Chemistry is an emollient, moisturizing- and conditioning agent. It is a natural ester derived from the fatty acid erucic acid and glycerin. It helps to hydrate, soften and smooth the skin, as well as providing lubricity to the formulation.

It is used in hair care products as a detangling agent and to improve the shine and manageability of the hair.
In some cases, it is used as a viscosity increasing agent in cosmetic formulations.
It is considered to be a safe and effective ingredient for use in personal care products.
Glyceryl Erucate improves firmness, imparts a silky and non-greasy feel to the skin.
