Diisopropyl sebacate by Alfa Chemistry acts as an emollient. It is also used as a solvent, particularly for fragrances. It is synthetically derived diester formed by the reaction of isopropyl alcohol and sebacic acid. It has the peculiar property of dissolving salt deposits and is very useful in preventing whitening in underarm stick deodorants and antiperspirants.

It is non-oily with mild drying effects.
Diisopropyl sebacate (Alfa chemistry) also offers fast spreading action.
It is used in men’s grooming aids, face lotions, bath oils, lip products and hand lotions.
