Citric Acid Monohydrate by Alfa Chemistry is an exfoliating agent, chelating agent, and preservative. It is a naturally occurring fruit acid which is produced commercially by microbial fermentation of a carbohydrate substrate. Citric Acid Monohydrate (Alfa chemistry) is generally used in permanent wave neutraliser, propellants for aerosol-type dispensers, toothpastes, mouth rinses, astringent lotions, bubble baths, creams and lotions, shampoos, feminine hygiene products, and facial cleaners.
