Palmitic Acid by Alfa Chemistry acts as a viscosity builder, emollient and co-emulsifier. It also acts as superfatting agent and opacifier. Offers improved emollience and thickness of emulsions. It is derived from palm oil by the saponification of the triglycerides using hot water.

Recommended for creams, cream rinses, shampoos, conditioners, soaps and other basic cosmetic preparations.
It is preservative free and GMO free.
