(Alfa) Magnesium Aluminum Silicate by Alfa Chemistry acts as a rheology modifier and binder. It is obtained from naturally occurring smectite clay which is water-washed and powdered to optimize purity and performance. It stabilizes both oil-in-water and water-in-oil emulsions at low concentrations (typically at 1-2%) even if containing anionic or nonionic surfactants.
