(Alfa) Laureth-3

Laureth-3 by Alfa Chemistry is a preservative-free, non-GMO, effective non-ionic emulsifier, surfactant, dispersing agent and sensory modifier. It also acts as a thickener in shampoos and shower gels. It is produced by reacting ethylene oxide with lauryl alcohol which is obtained from coconut oil. It solubilizes oils in aqueous systems and create a milky type of consistency when surfactants are present.

It is compatible with non-ionic, anionic, amphoteric, and cationic surfactants.
(Alfa) Laureth-3 is used in skin care, hair care including body washes, deodorants, lotions, and creams.
