(Alfa) Glycolic Acid

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Alfa Chemistry
Glycolic Acid by Alfa Chemistry acts as an exfoliant and anti-aging agent. It reduces the appearance of fine lines, irregular pigmentation, age spots and decreases enlarged pores. It is used to rejuvenate the skin by encouraging the shedding of old surface skin cells.
  • It can be used in products such as alpha-hydroxy acid peel or in creams & lotions at a lower concentration for a more gentle acid-based peel.
  • It is produced by hydrolysis of molten monochloroacetic acid with 50% aqueous sodium hydroxide at 90-130°C, resulting glycolic acid solution is about 70% concentrated.
  • Recommended for peels, creams, lotions, masks and cleansers.
  • (Alfa) Glycolic Acid is GMO- and preservative-free grade.
