Dextrin. DEXTRIN 20.901 by Agrana is a film former. It also acts as a binding agent in powder-based products. It is a partially hydrolyzed starch prepared by heating or dry roasting starch in the presence of an acid catalyst. It exhibits degree of cold water solubility. It is also called white dextrin. It provides white to opaque pastes which set back to rigid or soft gels depending on cold water solubility. DEXTRIN 20.901 is suitable for use in skin and hair conditioners. It has a shelf life of minimum 60 months. This grade is COSMOS certified.
