Caprylhydroxamic Acid. Actera CHA™ by Actera Ingredients is a multi-functional, anti-fungal chelating agent. It is 100% natural, biodegradable and is derived from vegetable sources. It is used to replace petrochemically-derived chelating agents.

It allows strong sequestration of iron ions and helps to reduce the water-activity in the water phase of a cosmetic formulation.
Actera CHA™ is a mid-polar compound with some surface-active properties.
It is COSMOS approved and compliant with globally recognized natural cosmetics standards such as NPA, NSF ANSI 305.
