Ethylparaben (100%). Nipagin® A by Clariant is a short-chain paraben preservative. It offers broad spectrum of activity against bacteria and fungi.

It exhibits low order of toxicity and effectiveness at low concentrations.
It has stability over a broad pH-range and global acceptance in personal care applications.
It shows good biodegradability at environmental concentrations.
It is used in hair conditioners, color cosmetics, antiperspirants & deodorants, bar- and liquid soaps.
Also used for shampoos, showers, sun protection and hair styling products.
Nipagin® A is recommended for wet wipes, syndets, creams and lotions.
