Bis-PEG-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane. Andisil® SW 1894 by AB Specialty Silicones is silicone wax with low melting point. It is recommended for hydrating formulations providing a smooth and soft feel and good organic compatibility. Also, boost foam volume and density in shampoo formulations. This ingredient can provide thickening benefits to formulations where high viscosities are desired. In skin care products, it offers film forming properties, foam stabilization, lubrication, moisturizing, spreadability and tack reduction. Whereas, in hair products, it provides conditioning and foam boosting benefits. Andisil® SW 1894 is used in antiperspirant/deodorant, cleansers, color cosmetics, creams & lotions, shaving products, leave-in & wash-off conditioners and styling treatments. The shelf life of this ingredient is 12 months.
