Symrise's three products have won the first prize at the BSB Innovation Awards 2020 in different categories. The European BSB Innovation Awards have been awarded by the independent consulting agency BSB since 2003 at in-cosmetics Global. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the award ceremony took place virtually this year.
Symrise Ingredients to Receive First Prize
The natural anti-dandruff active ingredient
Crinipan® PMC green received the award for Most Innovative Active Ingredient for cosmetics in the category “Scalp, Barrier, Redness.” In the category “Scalp, Hair, Moisture, Tan,” SymControl® Scalp won first prize for Natural Products/Raw Materials. The ingredient SymEffect™ Sun, optimized for natural sunscreen formulations, tops the list in the “Functionals” category.
Crinipan® PMC green: Natural Anti-dandruff Active Ingredient
The cosmetic active ingredient Crinipan® PMC green is a 100 percent biobased anti-dandruff substance that links a smart mode of action with high clinical efficacy. With Crinipan® PMC green, Symrise is responding to growing consumers' demand for more naturalness in personal care products.
SymControl® Scalp: Natural Solution for Oily Scalp and Hair
With the ingredient SymControl® Scalp, Symrise experts have developed an environmentally friendly solution for oily scalps and hair. The active ingredient is derived from Mediterranean microalgae and combats the causes of increased sebum production effectively. The ingredient improves hair and scalp health sustainably.
