Primient to Showcase Its Bio-based Products at NYSCC Suppliers’ DayPrimient will make its debut at this year’s New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC) Suppliers’ Day at the Javits Center, 3 - 4 May 2022 booth #1603, and will showcase its Texutrlux® line of products for the first time.

The company enters the personal care industry with a portfolio of proven products and trusted application expertise, including bio-based solutions which provide premium thickening, gelling, and emulsion functionality across a wide range of personal care applications.

Range of Personal Care Additives

As personal care shifts into more bio-based and sustainable materials, the company is uniquely positioned to offer superior solutions for these needs.

Its portfolio includes a range of personal care additive products designed to give formulators a variety of bio-based options.

  • Hair Care - Bio-alternatives are becoming the standard for consumers as they seek natural texture and essence. Primient offers bio-based solutions that increase foam stability and aesthetics.
  • Skin Care - As formulators look to increase the bio-content of their formulations without jeopardizing function, look, and feel, Primient offers thickeners and emulsifiers that are a perfect fit. In addition, their products are cold processable, simplifying formulation.
  • Sun Care - Primient offers solutions that maintain both excellent aesthetics, superb rheology, and enhanced water resistance.

Primient was established as the result of Tate & Lyle PLC (Tate & Lyle) selling a controlling stake in its Primary Products business in North America and Latin America to KPS Capital Partners, LP (KPS). The new privately held company is majority-owned and controlled by KPS, while Tate & Lyle retains a minority stake.

“We offer an exceptional range of bio-based, high-performance ingredients which are exactly on-trend with consumer demand,” said Primient general manager, Industrial Starches, Greg Wenndt. “We are excited to showcase our Texutrlux® line of products and expertise for the first time as Priment at NYSCC this year."
