Ahead of the show next week (28-30 March in Barcelona, Spain), in-cosmetics Global 2023 is set to see 180 new and recently launched personal care ingredients from leading global suppliers at the show’s renowned Innovation Zone.
Functional Ingredients that will Inspire Future Formulations
Over 180 new and recently launched personal care ingredients from leading suppliers across the globe will be launched. The Innovation Zone, designed to give visitors the temperature of the industry, will bring together the most creative ingredient suppliers, enabling cosmetic scientists and R&D professionals to easily identify new active and functional ingredients that will inspire their future formulations.
Some of the hottest ingredients featuring in this year’s Zone include Clariant’s
Aristoflex Eco T– a rheology modifier for skincare applications made from tara gum to improve skin texture and appearance. The Swiss company will also launch
Beracare CBA, an alternative to CBD, that is also natural and sourced responsibly from the Amazon to calm irritated and sensitive skin.
Elkem’s PURESIL™ ORG 03, a high-performance ingredient for a variety of products in haircare, skincare, makeup, and sun care, with multifunctional benefits and a low carbon footprint, will also be on display. As well Mibelle Biochemistry’s
CALMandrin™, which is anti-inflammatory, soothes reddened skin, and improves signs of skin aging, piques the interest of visitors as it targets three key trends: sustainability, CBD, and anti-aging.

All ingredients showcased in this dedicated zone are entered into the in-cosmetics Global Innovation Zone Best Ingredient Award 2023, taking place from 18:00 on Tuesday 28 March. The Awards are moderated by an esteemed panel of judges from the likes of Johnson & Johnson, Shiseido, L’Oréal, and more.
