Fragrances & Technology to Lead the Spanish Contingent at in-cosmetics Global Heading to the Catalonian capital from 28-30 March 2023, in-cosmetics Global will host more than 900 of the industry’s leading cosmetic and personal care ingredient suppliers, including 75 representing the Spanish region, when it returns to the Fira Barcelona Gran Via for the first time since 2015.

With one of the largest cosmetic science and derma sectors in Europe, Spain is home to more than 2,000 companies specializing in skin care and perfumery, of which 500-600 companies are brands and manufacturers.

in-cosmetics Global will provide attendees with the opportunity to discover emerging trends specific to the region, such as the niche perfumery trend in Catalonia. Led by Beauty Cluster – the largest Spanish cosmetics, perfumery, and personal care cluster in the country – the event’s Spanish pavilion will invite attendees to discover the finest products and developments the Spanish beauty market has to offer.

Essential Oils in Beauty

Specializing in essential oils and aroma chemicals for the Flavours and Fragrances industry, Lluch Essence will demonstrate its 70 years of raw material and ingredient sourcing expertise. Elsewhere, IBSINA - specialists in 100% pure and organic raw materials including essential oils, vegetable oils, and hydrosols, as well as active ingredients for use in cosmetics – will showcase its range of healthy, high quality, and environmentally friendly products. This includes its selection of 100% natural Chemotyped Essential Oils.

Also joining the Spanish pavilion, EG Active Cosmetics will promote its Olive Active brand, made up of high-purity cosmetic ingredients from the olive tree for the cosmetic and dermo-cosmetic market.

Specializing in creating quality fragrances for perfumery products, personal care, and more, Global Fragrances Lab will highlight how its design, creation, production, and distribution of fragrances are driven by innovation and creativity. Its experienced team of perfumers will deliver sessions live from the stand on fragrance creation and the latest trends impacting new concepts and developments. It will also demonstrate how the company embodies sustainability inside and outside of the lab. Keeping in line with sustainability trends, Amita HC will exhibit its exclusive range of innovative, sustainable, and hi-tech ingredients.

Focus on Technology

Contract manufacturer, Neftis Laboratorios will showcase its bespoke mesotherapy treatments – one of the most widely used techniques for rejuvenating the face, fighting cellulite, and eliminating localized fat. Using the latest technology, the company is helping brands to create innovative formulas, tailored for companies that require a third-party manufacturer.

Meanwhile, the leading Spanish research and innovation center, Aitex will inspire attendees with insights on its latest applied research projects, and vital technical knowledge helping brands become more competitive.

Commenting on the Spanish contingent represented at this year’s event, Roziani Zulkifli, exhibition director of in-cosmetics Global, said, “The Spanish market will always be of utmost importance to the global personal care and cosmetics community, which is why we are looking forward to returning to Barcelona. Our relationship with Beauty Cluster helps bring together the country’s leading suppliers while attracting visitors interested in learning more about the local market, and opportunities to work with Spanish suppliers. We’re excited to open the doors at the end of March for another successful edition of in-cosmetics Global in Barcelona.”
