CLR_CutiBiomeCLR Berlin will present its latest innovation, CutiBiome CLR (INCI: Octyldodecanol, Leptospermum Scoparium Branch/Leaf Oil, Piper Nigrum Fruit Extract, Magnolia Officinalis Bark Extract) at in-cosmetics Global in Barcelona this year.

CutiBiome CLR Improves Skin Health

The skin microbiota plays a largely positive, but sometimes detrimental role for skin. CutiBiome CLR was developed to anticipate on the ambivalence of members of the skin microbiota implied in the loss of skin health, for instance Cutibacterium acnes.

C. acnes is a commensal species, important for skin health. Certain genetic variants (phylotypes) of C. acnes play an important negative role for skin, though, for instance phylotype I-A1.

Significantly Inhibits Growth of Acnes

CutiBiome CLR fully abolishes the film forming activity and significantly inhibits the growth of C. acnes I-A1. Sebum, comedones, pustules and pimples are reduced dramatically, as was confirmed by instrumental determinations and the volunteers who participated in this study themselves.

Other in vivo studies showed potent reduction of dandruff. Clinical studies were conducted for a duration of four weeks in which CutiBiome CLR was used three times a week with a hair tonic. The study showed similar results to Piroctone Olamine, but clearly outperformed it in reducing scalp oiliness, sensitivity and itch.

CLR Berlin will be present at booth P70, in-cosmetics Global, Barcelona.
