Univar Solutions Inc. and Biosynthetic® Technologies have announced a new distribution agreement to extend Biosynthetic Technologies' footprint in the beauty and personal care market across the United States.
Biosynthetic® Technologies’ New Product Line
Under the terms of the agreement, Univar Solutions will market, sell, warehouse, and support Biosynthetic® Technologies full BioEstolide™ product line to meet the demand for bio-based personal care ingredients. BioEstolide™ products are bio-based oils with emollient performance features, and are from a natural, non-GMO source.

Alternative to Petroleum-derived Ingredients
Biosynthetic® Technologies enters into the personal care market space with BioEstolide™ products. The new bio-based esters are manufactured in a facility that runs on sustainable energy. The products are a bio-based alternative to existing petroleum-derived raw materials, and hence company foresees them having a significant impact on the personal care marketplace.
