PCHi to Return to Shanghai for Its Next Edition - Paving Way with Technology-led EventsPersonal Care and Homecare Ingredients (PCHi), China’s choice sourcing platform for the global personal care industry, will return to Shanghai for its next edition - scheduled to take place from 20-22 March 2024 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center (SWEECC).

The organizers, Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions (RSE), are pleased to share that over 600 companies from 20 countries and regions have already confirmed their participation in PCHi 2024, occupying 85% of the available space.

These include leading manufacturers, distributors, and wholesalers of personal care and cosmetics ingredients; suppliers of flavors, fragrances, and aromas; as well as testing laboratories from around the world.

Addressing the Industry’s Advancement

A testament to the strong pull of PCHi, the show attracted more than 700 exhibiting companies and over 30,000 visitors in attendance this year. Held in Guangzhou, the 2023 edition brought together industry experts, professionals, and exhibitors from around the world for a fruitful time of networking, learning, and exploring the latest ingredients and technology offerings. The event showcased cutting-edge technologies, novel ingredients, and innovative solutions for the personal care and home care industries through its flagship PCHi Annual Industry Conference and various knowledge-sharing platforms.

In the same vein, PCHi 2024 promises to be a landmark event where industry leaders, esteemed academics, and influential government representatives will converge to explore the latest trends, innovations, and solutions. The event will provide an exceptional platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and business development, fostering growth and collaboration in the industry.

With the increasingly competitive landscape in recent years, cosmetics companies are turning to innovation and technology — particularly innovation in research and development (R&D) — as an enabler for success. Ingredient manufacturers are looking to biotechnology research and beauty brands are prioritizing fundamental dermatology-based research so as to address the growth and potential of functional skin care products in the market.

To address this trend, the upcoming PCHi Technology Summit 2023 will delve into the forefront of technological innovations within the industry and aims to foster a vibrant exchange of technical knowledge across the entire industry chain — paving the way for further advancements and breakthroughs. Themed “Advancing Towards a Smart Future with Frontier Technologies”, the Summit will cater to the varied learning needs of professionals representing ingredient suppliers, finished product manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, independent testing laboratories, as well as pharmaceutical companies.

Delegates can look forward to insightful presentations and discussions by a stellar panel of notable speakers on hot topics such as Cosmetic Dermatology and Applications, Smart Technology Applications in Beauty and Cosmetics, New Technology in Cosmetics, and Anti-Aging and Nutricosmetics. Additionally, the Summit will also feature the launch ceremony of the highly anticipated PCHi Fountain Awards 2024.

The Summit will run from 23-24 August at the Le Méridien Shanghai. Interested parties can obtain more details from Ms. Serena Liu.
