For scent lovers, the arrival of summer signals the time to switch up their fragrances. Seasonal products offer a great opportunity to experiment; especially since Mintel reported 58% of consumers have future interest in products containing seasonal fragrances.
Exotic Tropics, Green Notes, and ‘Vacay Vibes’ are themes leading the market this summer. Exotic Tropics offer global excitement with exotic fruity top notes like guava or lychee. Inspired by nature, Green Notes includes creative “summer green” notes of bamboo, palm leaves, or sea fennel. Tapping into transportive aromas, Vacay Vibes highlights beachy elements like coconut or pear to invoke that ‘sunshine and sunscreen’ feeling.
