Prioritizing Innovation Related to Gender-neutral Fragrances
The US unisex fragrance market is projected to reach dollar 190 million by 2025, and one industry source reported that online searches for these products have increased by 43.5% since last year. In response to consumer demand, brands are prioritizing innovation related to gender-neutral fragrances and, consequently, are offering a growing variety of these fragrance types.
Intense floral, fabric-inspired, and smoky amber types are among some of the most popular blends representing trending unisex scents on the market. Juxtaposition is a key element in the Dark Florals category, within which leading brands are combining soft accords like powder with heavier ones like burnt spices and tar.
Within Fantasy Fabrics, prevalent notes are often based on dreamy scent interpretations like cotton, velvet and linen; while modern smoky arrangements, or Amber & Embers, incorporate sweet, warm, and cozy amber accords to achieve balance.
