The new factory of PT Apical Kao Chemicals, a joint venture company of Kao Corporation and Apical Group Limited that produces fatty acids in Sumatra, Indonesia, has been completed. The initial investment is about 80 million US dollars (about 9 billion yen).
Producing Competitive Oleochemical Products
With the completion of the new factory, the Kao Group will increase its production capacity, produce competitive oleochemical products, and promote their stable supply, in order to expand the chemical business.
