Biesterfeld Extends Distribution Rights for Carbonwave's Seaweed-based Emulsifier Biesterfeld is exclusively extending its existing distribution of Carbonwave's SeaBalance 2000 product with immediate effect.

At the beginning of the year, Biesterfeld was already granted distribution rights for the DACH region, Poland, and the Baltic States – now the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Croatia will be added.

99.5% Natural & Suitable for Body and Cosmetic Applications


Carbonwave is a public benefit corporation whose mission is to enable gigaton-scale carbon drawdown by upcycling Sargassum seaweed into ultra-regenerative, plant-based biomaterials.

SeaBalance 2000 is a seaweed-based cosmetic emulsifier made from upcycled sargassum seaweed. ISO16128 is 99.5% natural and suitable for body and cosmetic applications.
