Amyris, Inc. has started initial production of hand sanitizer with Allure Labs as its contract manufacturing and packaging partner. Amyris has also successfully replenished its popular baby wipes that have been out of stock in most channels as fast as they restock.
New, Safe and Clean Pipette Hand Sanitizer
Amyris has announced the launch of a new, safe and clean Pipette Baby branded hand sanitizer that can be used by everyone to help combat COVID-19. The company has rapidly scaled its manufacturing and supply chain to respond to the strong demand received since the announcement was made.

Moisturizes Skin Effectively Using Squalane
The Pipette hand sanitizer product is different because it moisturizes effectively using squalane. Amyris’ goal is to produce as much product as it can in the coming weeks to support customers' needs. Also, the company has received a significant number of requests from front line medical personnel and colleagues in the biotechnology industry to donate, and these requests we are prioritized for delivery.

Since announcing the introduction of our Pipette Hand Sanitizer product last week, we have received orders for over 70,000 units," said John Melo, Amyris president and CEO.
Amyris is also announcing the successful restocking of its baby wipes that was sold out across most sales channels. The company has increased production orders to meet the increased need of consumers.
