Satisfying Consumer Demand
In order to satisfy the growing consumer demand for new products and support brands in the field of agility and time-to-market, Albéa has invested in a prototyping machine for its Bottanuco plant and more particularly the Albéa Tips Studio: its center of expertise dedicated exclusively to mascaras brushes.
Applicators and mascaras require know-how and precision of a jeweler to achieve the successful combination - formula, applicator, pack (wiper and packaging) performance - at the origin of unique and reliable beauty rituals.
"At Albéa, innovation is a constant process. We listen to consumers in focus groups and observation sessions to innovate in line with the latest trends," explains Catherine Laganaro, Applicator developer for Europe at Albéa.
Customized Fiber Brushes
This expertise is reinforced with the prototyping machine, which aims to create fully customized fiber brushes of various shapes and fiber materials in record time.
"The objective is to make happen the future best-seller that the brand imagines for its consumers. In one day of workshop - including brainstorming, iterative processes, prototyping and make-up tests -, the brand can bring home a custom-made brush, specially adapted to its formula and the wanted make-up effect" adds Catherine Laganaro.
