BELSIL® eco EG 3001

Undecane (and) Tridecane (and) Divinyldimethicone/Dimethicone Crosspolymer. BELSIL® eco EG 3001 by Wacker acts as a binder in pressed powder cosmetics and thickening agent. It is a silicone elastomer gel consisting of silicone copolymer network blended with a mixture of 100% renewable-based and readily biodegradable undecane and tridecane. The silicone copolymer network is also based on renewable raw materials according to “TÜV NORD Standard REDcert²”. It is easy to distribute on skin and gives a smooth, light and powdery feel.

• It provides rheological benefits and imparts a thixotropic effect.
• It also shows a good combability with a variety of solvents and is easy to formulate.
• It adds cushiony feel to moisturizing creams, sunscreen lotions, eye gels, foundations, concealers and BB creams.
• It can be used to thicken the oil phase of emulsions or anhydrous cosmetic formulations.
