BELSIL® DM 500

Dimethicone. BELSIL® DM 500 by Wacker is a linear, non-reactive, unmodified polydimethylsiloxane. It is characterized by low surface tension and high spreading coefficient. Due to their flexible polymer backbone, dimethicones have high permeability to gases (e.g. water vapor, oxygen), which allows respiration of the skin. BELSIL® DM 500 provides reduced whitening and skin feel can be optimized. Used in antiperspirants/deodorants, decorative cosmetics, shaving, skin care and sunscreens.
