Stearyl Dimethicone. Silwax® L118 by Siltech is an alkylated silicone wax and lubricant. The alkyl pendant groups make it more compatible with many organic systems. It provides gloss and softness to personal care products. It offers emolliency & barrier properties. It is recommended for cleansers (foaming), augment moisturizers, lotions, cosmetics and antiperspirant & deodorant. Silwax® L118 has a shelf life of 36 months when stored in the original, unopened containers between 10 and 40°C.
