Silica Dimethyl Silylate. COVASILIC® 15 by Sensient Cosmetic Technologies acts as a thixotropic agent for clear oily gels. It is hydrophobic fumed silica thickener for oil, polyols (glycerin, propylene glycol) and W/O emlusions. It offers excellent suspending properties for fluid oil formulations. COVASILIC® 15 is suggested to create innovative water and powder formula. It finds application in eye, face, lip, makeup and skin care products.
