Asensa® CL 300

Ethylene/VA Copolymer. Asensa™ CL 300 acts as a gelling agent, rheology modifier for use in oil containing formulations such as balms and oils, pomades and styling products. Is a high quality, low molecular weight copolymer with moderate hardness. The slight polarity makes this copolymer well suited for dispersing certain ingredients. Also, this additive confers rheological modification to vegetable oils and commonly used solubilizing esters with comparable solubility parameters. Asensa™ CL 300 is used to impart gloss in lipstick and similar formulations. Also used in crystal structure modification for structuring of and syneresis control of lipsticks, gels, oil based formulations, including fragrance oils.
