Asensa® CL 260

Synthetic wax (100%). Asensa® CL 260 acts as a film-former, solubilizer, structuring agent and rheology modifier. Asensa® CL 260 also enables a range of gelation. It is a high purity polymer with a relatively low drop point. Its relative low molecular weight, branching and polydispersity makes it easy to disperse in a variety of lipids. Gellation properties vary depending on the cooling process, shows effectiveness even with natural oils, and is commonly used in solubilizing esters. Recommended applications include lipsticks, gels, oil based formulations including fragrance oils, balms, pomades and styling products.
