Diethylhexyl Sebacate. HALLSTAR® DOS by Hallstar is a detackifying agent, emollient, fragrance extender, pigment wetter, dispersant, solubilizing & spreading agent, solvent, lubricant and plasticizer. It is synthetically produced diester of 2-ethylhexanol and castor-derived sebacic acid. It has a non-oily, silky skin feel and spreads easily. It is hydro-alcoholic compatible and can improve the spreading of oil blends. HALLSTAR® DOS is used in after-sun skin care, antiperspirants, beach wear sun care, aftershave lotions, daily wear sun care, eye area color cosmetics, facial color cosmetics, facial skin care, foot care, hand & body care, shaving products as well as styling aids. Also, used in hairsprays and other hair grooming aids.
