Cetyl Palmitate. HALLSTAR® 653 by Hallstar is a bodying agent, emollient thickener and opacifier. It is a base or stiffener for stick products, and a substitute for spermaceti wax. This biodegradable, non-oily, plant-derived/vegetal-based ingredient possesses feel modification/enhancement. It is a solid waxy ester made from the reaction of cetyl alcohol with palmitic acid. HALLSTAR® 653 is used in antiperspirants, beach wear sun care, cleansing wipes, daily wear sun care, deodorants and eye area color cosmetics. Also, used in facial cleansers, facial skin- & foot care, hair conditioners, hand & body- & lip care, liquid hand soaps, mouthwash as well as in shower gels/body washes.
