Divinyldimethicone/Dimethicone Copolymer (and) C12-13 Pareth-23 (and) C12-13 Pareth-3. DOWSIL™ HMW 2220 Non-Ionic Emulsion by Dow is a film-forming agent. It acts as a foam booster and viscosity builder for water-in-silicone systems. It is a sensory- & texture enhancer. It is a cold processable, non-ionic emulsion of a very high viscosity polydimethylsiloxane/vinyl copolymer. It possesses easy formulation, compatibility with non-ionic, cationic and anionic surfactants systems and free from animal-derived ingredients. It offers enhanced dry & wet combing, rich feel, wash-off resistance, heat protection, film barrier properties, good wet/dry-detangling and smoothness without weighing hair down. It provides heat protection, reduced friction, resistance to breakage and shine. It shows superior foam profile, skin feel, increased fragrance intensity, prolonged fragrance release and hair color retention. DOWSIL™ HMW 2220 Non-Ionic Emulsion is used in skin creams, facial cleansers, shower gels, shampoos, rinse-off & leave-on conditioners and styling products. It contains phenoxyethanol as a preservative.
